Samples of my work

For your interest, I have included some material here showing websites that I've created, as well as work in progress, but I'll get to that in a moment.  First, please let me take a moment to tell you a little bit about what I do.  With my background in:

  • Relational Databases
  • Computer Networks
  • Systems Engineering
  • Programming
  • Physical Security
  • Computer & Network Security
  • Policy & Procedure
  • Technical Support
  • Technical Writing
  • Standards-Based Website Development
    • Browser-independent and fully-accessible

...I have the skills to handle a wide range of tasks on my own, thus creating a consolidated, thoroughly documented, secure, and robust solution that can be easily handed-off to your in-house technical staff, if that is what you require.  Of course, I'm also happy to provide ongoing support myself, as well.  If you would like to review my resume, please contact me using the form on the website (contact form) for a copy.  So, let's move on to a few samples of my work:

Dynamic website built upon PHP/MySQL:

The site http://www.GentleTeachers.Org/ is no longer online, but I've re-created the site here at http://www.SpectralDesign.Net/gtorg/ for you to examine.  The site is a dynamic database for a group of people to network, which I created from scratch for a non-profit organization.  Below is a screenshot of the title page:

Proof-of-concept website to showcase a relational database:

I created a proof-of-concept website and database for a financial institution, to illustrate how their diverse set of customer records could be stored in a relational database (the diagram of the initial layout of the RDBMS is just below this paragraph -- click to enlarge) and the POC site I've re-created here at http://mantra.SpectralDesign.Net/.

A site with more focus on presentation:

Here's a project that never got very far off the ground, but it was heading in a new and interesting direction, so here is a screenshot, and a link to the title page where I left the project http://dcu.SpectralDesign.Net/
